Why Gunite Pools?

The reason Gunite pools have become so popular is because of their shape.  Whether it is for your backyard, a hotel, etc…  Gunite pools can be specifically shaped to fit your size and/or needs.  They can fit anywhere!  The design can be as creative as you would like to reflect the shape of your property, style of your home, etc…  They allow a homeowner/ commercial property to have a vast array of additional options including (but not limited to) waterfalls, concrete steps, swim-up bars, beaches, etc… that other pool types do not allow.  Not only can you choose these special options, you can choose different types of surfaces to colors using stones, pebbles, tiles, etc….

Gunite Pools are considerably more expensive than your standard pool.  The reason is more than the custom shape and design, but the materials and labor being used to make it.  The time and labor that takes into designing your perfect pool and the durability that comes along with it alone increase costs.  A Gunite pool is a compilation of sand and concrete making for a very durable and long lasting pool liner.  If you were to go with a cheaper method, over time, your liner fails and has to be replaced.  Also, a Gunite is less time consuming and easier to maintain.  In short, if money is not an object when installing a pool for your home, hotel, etc… go with a Gunite pool.
