Frequently Asked Questions
1. How much will the project cost?
It is difficult to quote a price over the phone. Price is contingent on size, the current condition of the facility/project, and other factors. Contractors prefer not to give a price over the phone due to the fact they do not know the current condition or state of the project.
2. Typically, how soon can a contractor start?
Everyone always wants their project started immediately from the day they accept your proposal. Contractors will often have customers that say Contractors will only be awarded a project if they can start immediately. Contractors always do their best to work around the customer’s demands but sometimes it is not possible due to projects that are already running, etc…
3. Do you have insurance?
Being a commercial/industrial/institutional contractor having insurance, and good insurance, is a must to be awarded projects. Not only general liability but everyone now wants to see auto insurance, worker’s compensation, etc… Having good insurance is imperative to being awarded projects.
